Thoughts are so important in life and it is good to know that God is thinking about us. In the bible, God spoke about His thoughts for us, and His care for us, saying, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart,” (Jeremiah 29:11-13). Amen. By the grace of God, we know and understand that God is thinking about us, and that God deeply cares for us. And, God is always available to listen to our prayer, when we earnestly seek Him.
So, let’s consider some key questions. What do you think about? Do you think about God? Do you believe in Him? In Mark 11:22, Jesus said, “Have faith in God.” That is, our faith should be steadfastly rooted in God. As believers, and this is if you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, we should have an unwavering faith in God. It is so important that our thought life is aligned to strongly believe in God wholeheartedly, and for us to exercise our faith in God and to help others by planting seeds of faith.
What is the essence of having faith in God, if we do not exercise our faith? What is the essence of having faith in God, if we do not practice our faith? Even if our faith is as small as a mustard seed, we can be raise assured that we can do great things with our faith in God. Jesus explained in Luke 17:6, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.” This type of experience comes when we totally believe in God and we do not doubt Him, even if our faith is as small as a mustard seed.
If you think you are not quite there yet, do not lose hope. There is room to make changes, and there is room for growth. Faith leads to hope, and hope leads to love. And, faith leads to salvation in Jesus. Apostle Paul wrote about the gospel of the Lord Jesus saying, “For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith”” (Romans 1:17). So there is room to make changes and to believe in the Lord Jesus, and there is room for growth to grow from faith to faith. So do not give up in seeking God and in growing your faith in God. And, do not give up when it comes to sowing and planting seeds of faith.
When it comes to aligning our thoughts with faith, hope, and love in God, we are also encouraged by what Apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 4:8 saying, “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.” And, very importantly, keep firmly in mind what Jesus said in Mark 11:22, “Have faith in God.” So, be encouraged to believe in God strongly, firmly, totally and wholeheartedly, and God will not fail you. And, if you are not yet saved, you can click here to learn how to become born again and to be saved by the Lord Jesus Christ. Live your best life being inspired by God, and be blessed always.
