KEEP SOWING AND PLANTING SEEDS OF FAITH

Keep Sowing and Planting Seeds of Faith

Thoughts are so important in life and it is good to know that God is thinking about us. In the bible, God spoke about His thoughts for us, and His care for us, saying, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart,” (See Jeremiah 29:11-13). Amen. By the grace of God, we know and understand that God is thinking about us, and that God deeply cares for us. And, God is always available to listen to our prayer, when we earnestly seek Him.

So, let’s consider some key questions. What do you think about? Do you think about God? Do you believe in Him? In Mark 11:22, Jesus said, “Have faith in God.” That is, our faith should be steadfastly rooted in God. As believers, and this is if you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, we should have an unwavering faith in God. It is so important that our thought life is aligned to strongly believe in God wholeheartedly, and for us to exercise our faith in God and to help others by planting seeds of faith.

What is the essence of having faith in God, if we do not exercise our faith? What is the essence of having faith in God, if we do not practice our faith? Even if our faith is as small as a mustard seed, we can be raise assured that we can do great things with our faith in God. Jesus explained in Luke 17:6, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.” This type of experience comes when we totally believe in God and we do not doubt Him, even if our faith is as small as a mustard seed.

If you think you are not quite there yet, do not lose hope. There is room to make changes, and there is room for growth. Faith leads to hope, and hope leads to love. And, faith leads to salvation in Jesus. Apostle Paul wrote about the gospel of the Lord Jesus saying, “For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith”” (See Romans 1:17). So there is room to make changes and to believe in the Lord Jesus, and there is room for growth to grow from faith to faith. So do not give up in seeking God and in growing your faith in God. And, do not give up when it comes to sowing and planting seeds of faith.

When it comes to aligning our thoughts with faith, hope, and love in God, we are also encouraged by what Apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 4:8 saying, “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.” And, very importantly, keep firmly in mind what Jesus said in Mark 11:22, “Have faith in God.” So, be encouraged to believe in God strongly, firmly, totally and wholeheartedly, and God will not fail you. And, if you are not yet saved, you can click here to learn how to become born again and to be saved by the Lord Jesus Christ. Live your best life being inspired by God, and be blessed always.

THE MOTHER AND DAUGHTER RELATIONSHIP

The Mother and Daughter Relationship
The relationship between the mother and the daughter is wonderful and beautiful. There is life, there is wisdom, there is knowledge, there is understanding, and there is beauty. Keep in mind that women too, were created in God’s image (See Genesis 1:27). So, without a doubt, we too have our Heavenly Mother. In 1 John 5:7, the bible explains, “For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.”

A typical family usually involves the Father, Mother, and the Child or Children. It is interesting to note that women are often identified with and praised for their ability to nurture the new born baby and to train the baby to develop and grow. And, it is often the mother who comforts her baby, and in the process of time, it is also the mother who usually helps to train the child with the father.

In Proverbs 22:6, the bible tells us, “Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.” Obviously, the child can be male or female, and thus, the bible is referring to us training both our sons and daughters in the ways of God. We can certainly thank God for His wonderful and amazing love for His children!

A good example of a mother and daughter relationship in the bible is that of Naomi and Ruth. We can see how Ruth was willing to honor Naomi and to go with her back to Israel, and How God blessed her. In one of the Ten Commandments, God said, “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you,” (See Exodus 20:12), and in Ephesians 6:1-3, Apostle Paul wrote, “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.””

Our God is so awesome that He has provided great promises for all His sons and daughters! In Joel 2:28-29, God said; “And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.” Wow! Thank God that He has provided His Spirit and gifts to all His sons and daughters!

In Matthew 12:49-50, Jesus said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.” In Psalm 27:10, King David identified God’s supernatural care in his life, saying, “When my father and my mother forsake me, Then the LORD will take care of me.” And in 2 Corinthians 6:18, the bible also tells us another wonderful promise from God; “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the LORD Almighty.” Yes, it is good to know that God is also the Perfect Mother too. Be blessed always. Live your best life with God, and live inspired.

YOU ARE WONDERFULLY MADE BY GOD

You Are Wonderful

You are wonderful, unique and special to God. You are not here in vain and you are not a random occurrence in life. The truth and fact of the matter is that God knows you totally and completely, and God has a special purpose for your life. King David wrote one of the most beautiful verses in the bible about God’s creation and He praised God saying in Psalm 139:14, “I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.” It is so important to note that this bible verse was not just about King David, and so, as we can understand it, this bible verse is applicable to each person and it magnificently portrays the fact that all people have been fearfully and wonderfully made by God.

God is so awesome, wonderful and amazing that all his works are marvelous. When we truly understand our identity with God, it is such a fulfilling encounter that can last throughout our entire lifetime and eternity. The bible tells us that we were created in God’s image. According to the verse in Genesis 1:27, the bible clearly explains, So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” That is such an awesome identity! Thank God that we were created in God’s image! Knowing this truth and living it every day can bring such tremendous fulfillment and true satisfaction in our lives! Truly, each person can take the journey to walk with God in their life and it is certainly the best choice to make. It is a great adventure to walk with God and to experience the amazing works of God in a person’s life!

So God has provided a great promise and an important invitation in Jeremiah 33:3 saying, “‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’” This is a wonderful invitation by God to any person who wishes to take the adventure to walk with God. And, it is important for each person to know that he/she is greatly loved by God. Each person was wonderfully made by God in His image, and each person can take the journey to walk with God.

THE MARRIAGE COVENANT

The Marriage Covenant
The marriage covenant is a special union created by God to unite two people to become one flesh. In the bible, when the Pharisees came and asked Jesus, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?” (See Matthew 19:3), Jesus responded to the question with, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.” (See Matthew 19:4-6)

In addition, the Pharisees also asked Jesus, “Why then did Moses command to give a certificate of divorce, and to put her away?” (See Matthew 19:7). And, Jesus responded with, “Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, permitted you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery.” (See Matthew 19:8-9)

Therefore, the marriage covenant is meant to be loving and honorable. It is meant to allow the husband and wife to build a special connection and bond that lasts throughout their lifetime, and unless separated by God, or separated through divorce because of sexual immorality. The bible encourages those in marriage to be kind to each other. According to Hebrews 13:4, “Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.” So clearly, cheating is unacceptable with God.

And, God is so kind to also share with us in the bible about the marriage between Jesus and the believers or saints. In Revelation 19:6-9, Apostle John recorded the vision that he saw in heaven, saying, And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns! Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.””

Therefore, the marriage covenant is a very important and a special union filled with deep meaning and significant attributes. When God unites two people in the marriage covenant, it is meant to be honored, celebrated, and accepted by all. Be blessed always. Live your best life with God, and live inspired.

LOVE NEVER FAILS

Love never fails

God is love, and love is perfection. When asked about the greatest commandment in the law, Jesus responded with the two great commandments about love, and by those two great commandments, He said the whole law and the prophets hang on them. Specifically, Jesus said; “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets” (See Matthew 22:37-40). That is it. Jesus gave us the formula for love, the formula to know God and to know ourselves.

There is great importance in knowing true love – the love of God for us, our love for God, and the love for our neighbor as for ourselves. Many people are familiar with the bible verse from John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Here, the love of God is so clearly expressed and shown to us, in that God loved us so much that He was willing to send His only begotten Son in whom He loves so dearly, to come to earth in order to die as a sacrifice for the sinful and fallen mankind. He came to save us because of love. He went through the whole experience of the cross because of love. He loved us so much that to Him, it was all worth the price. The price to save mankind from eternal damnation, and the price to give mankind eternal life with untold treasures and riches in glory.

God’s love is so clearly shown that there is really no plausible reason to doubt it. Once you know the love of God for you, it is important to learn to grow in the love of God. This is the highest relationship there is – knowing the love of God, and growing in the love of God. Learn to love God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. And learn to love your neighbor as yourself. It is in the exercise of loving God and loving our neighbors as ourselves that we truly experience and know true love. The perfect love. The pure love. The love that is above sin. God promised us in Jeremiah 29:13, saying, “And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” God’s love is already there for us, but something happens when we begin to love God and when we seek and search for God with all our heart. Something amazing starts to happen. It is so amazing that there are no words to really describe it. You just need to experience it for yourself. You can click here to learn how to become born again and how to establish your relationship with God. Seek and search for God with all your heart, and you will surely find Him. Experience the perfect love, and you will concur that, God’s love never fails.

THE FATHER AND SON RELATIONSHIP

The Father and Son Relationship
The father is usually seen as the protector and the provider of the family. And in many aspects, the father is often seen as the head of the family. There are many important benefits to having a good father in our lives. Unfortunately in life, some people may not necessarily have a good earthly father, or may not know their father at all, but it is critical to note that God is always the Perfect Father that we all need! He is the only Father that truly has everything under his control and He is the only one with total ability to protect us from all harm.

In this post, we will briefly explore the wonderful relationship between the father and son, and how scriptures can help to guide us to have a better relationship with our Heavenly Father. Some examples of good father and son relationships from the scriptures that come to mind include Abraham and Isaac, David and Solomon, and of course, God the Father and Jesus.

It is interesting to note the connection that is shared between the fathers and their sons. In the case of Abraham and Isaac, we can attest to the trust that Isaac exhibited when it came to the situation surrounding the provision of sacrifice to God (See Genesis 22). And, this is also symbolically similar to how Jesus was willing to trust His Father in becoming the sacrifice that was provided in order to save all people (see John 3:16 and John 10:11). Another interesting father and son relationship from the bible is how David was so passionate about leaving guiding instructions and principles for his son Solomon to follow (See 1Kings 2:1-4, 1Chronicles 28 and 29).

Altogether, it is wonderful, comforting, and strengthening to know that God is the Perfect Father for all people. You can always trust God to guide and direct your life and to lead you to your destiny. Even if you may not have an earthly father that is there for you, or in some cases, some people may not have good earthly fathers, while some people do have good earthly fathers; the key point here is that, we can always count on God to be the Perfect Father for all of us, and, God wants to be the Perfect Father to you too. Be blessed always. Live your best life with God, and live inspired.
